There are so many people today who are going through tough times and many afflictions; at times they have lost hope of living. They have thought all is lost and as they say, they have reached the end of themselves. You have just come to the end of yourself and that is where God is going to commence his work. After you have gone through all those afflictions, God will give you a new song and you will sing like David, The Lord says, "never again will I give grain as food for your enemies and never again will foreigners drink the new wine, for which you have toiled."

In Psalms 22:1, the bible says, "David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul."

On the day when the Lord delivered David he sang a song. This is the day when:-

· the one who was to be pierced by Saul,

· the one who was to be killed by goliath,

· the one who dwelt in caves,

· the one who was anointed by God but took a very long time to be fulfilled

· the one who was hated by his brothers, sang a song of victory.

God is about to give you a song, when your afflictions and the injustice is over you will sing a song.

When Moses & the children of Israel were delivered from the oppression of pharaoh they sang a song & that’s why the bible says that we shall sing the song of Moses. God allows you to go through it all, but when the miracle comes, He brings it with a song. David had been tossed to and from all sides, but after that he settled down; he had a song. You have gone through so many things and afflictions but the Lord is saying that He is going to settle you. This is what the Lord has been telling me concerning the church this year, "The word says that judgment shall begin in the house of God, last year the cup of judgment was upon the church, there were so many scandals about the church, but this year the cup of the wrath of God is going to be upon the world, but mercy and compassion shall prevail in the church.. There are those who wanted David to die, but that never happened. This is the year when God will deliver us; He will deliver your family, your finances and your health. God did this in only one day. Why didn’t God classify all the enemies together, why did He put Saul separately? This is because people have so many problems but there is one which is greater than them all. God is going to finish all of them; he finished the enemies in one day. That problem might have taken so long but God is going to finish it in one day. God shall deliver you from both the small and big problems. David didn’t know some of those enemies but God delivered him. We are living in a world whereby those who are your arch enemies are those who are with you. There was a time that David was being cursed by Shimei. David’s friends wanted to attack them but David stopped them because he knew that those curses would be reversed by God. He had enemies from all sides but it was only God who would have delivered him. God will not allow your enemies to be everywhere, When they are at the door, the window will be opened just like in the case of Paul, This is our God.

· poverty is your enemy

· barrenness is your enemy

· premature death is your enemy, but God shall deliver you from them all.

Saul looked for all the opportunities to kill David but he didn’t succeed, at one time  Saul wanted David to bring him a hundred foreskins after circumcising the philistines. Saul thought that David would be killed in the event, but that never succeeded. David went circumcised them, and brought back more foreskins than was required. If God be for you there is no body who can stand against you. The bible says that don’t fear he who can only destroy the flesh but fear him who can destroy the flesh and after, destroy your soul in eternal fire. (Luke 12:5). That’s why David wrote psalms 23. "… the Lord prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies.? There is time for everything under the sun, a time to be down and a time to be up. There was a time David had an opportunity to kill Saul, but he never killed him, he only cut a piece of his cloth (1 sam24:10). The battle is not yours the battle belongs to God. God is going to fight for you. Let your hope always be on God. He is the only one who can never disappoint you. "there are things which are disturbing you and you have not been able to share with anyone, but God will take you out of it." when David wrote this song he was at peace and at rest, (Joshua 11:23) There are so many incidences whereby those who ever tried to kill the people of God; died before their time and in a mysterious way. e.g.

· Jezebel wanted to kill the servant of God Elijah, but instead of Elijah its jezebel who died and his blood was leaked by dogs.

· Those who wanted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to die, they are the ones who died as they tried to throw them in fire.

· Pharaoh and the Egyptians died as they tried to pursue the Israelites in order to kill them.

I prophesy that before the month of MAY this year, God will make your ways smooth and will give you rest from all your enemies.
