Help victims of post-election violence

All of us have been shocked and deeply saddened at the widespread devastation caused by the post-election violence. Kenya was overcome by violence and tribal clashes following the poll on December 27. Hundreds of people have been killed in ethnic and police violence and at least 250, 000 displaced from their homes. In Nairobi, thousands of people have taken refuge at the Jamuhuri grounds (Mathare), Moi Airbase, Eastleigh, among other places. Maximum Miracle Center outreach  has stepped up its relief operations  by providing hot  meals and donated clothing to the affected communities. MMC outreach program provides meals to the underprivileged (approx 10,000-15,000) during the Christmas Season and currently runs a Children Rehabilation Center

In addition to mass feeding, Bishop Pius Muiru & the Maximum family are offering pastoral support to the affected families. Let’s pray that the peace process will continue to prevail in the Nation of Kenya.
